Nacomi Skincare & Haircare Haul!

Hey 🙂

Today I would love to introduce you to a brand that I got to know myself just recently. It is Nacomi, a Polish brand that’s crueltyfree, handmade, paraben free, SLS free & allergen free. They use only the highest grade raw materials from around the world to make their products highly effective.

Here is everything that I got in my beauty haul & the mini reviews :

Nacomi haul

● Moroccan Argan Intensive Hydration Night cream – This one is a thick, luxurious cream that smells absolutely divine. It is, just as it’s name suggests, intensely hydrating thanks to the presence of Hyaluronic Acid in it. Other ingredients that make this cream truly moisturizing are Argan oil (sourced from Morocco), Shea butter (from Africa) & Avocado oil. It melts right into the skin on application.

Nacomi night cream

The brand has different creams targeting different age groups. The one I got is for my skin type (normal/dry) and targeting 30+ when the first wrinkles start showing. I am hitting 30 this year and I feel it’s a match made in heaven for my skin. I highly recommend this night cream ♡

● No Rinse Argan hair conditioner – As I’ve mentioned before on this blog, I am trying my best to keep my hair looking like it has some life. So, this leave in conditioner attracted my attention. It has Argan oil & Cashmere protein in it to deliver healthy, silky hair.

Argan leave in conditioner

It’s white in color and has a watery texture. It smells like any other hair conditioner – very pleasant and lovely. The smell lingers in the hair, at the same time giving it an instant shine. I like apply it on my hair at night or when it looks extra lifeless before stepping out of my home. It comes in a plastic spray bottle, convenient to spritz on to the hair. It’s long term efforts are yet to be known. Anyways, I got 2 bottles to keep it stocked.

● Hair Mask with Moroccan Argan oil – The ingredients of this thick, white, creamy mask are the same as the ones I just discussed in the leave in conditioner. It is supposed to regenerate and smoothen the hair, strengthening the hair against damage and breakage and restoring shine to dull hair.

Argan hair mask

I usually apply it for 20 mins and wash off. The hair does feel instantly soft and manageable. I am currently using it once a week. It comes in a tube with a flip open lid, conveniently designed to be used while in shower.

All of the above are priced between AED 50 – AED 85 and were purchased from the store named ‘Solace’, Al Wahda Mall, Abu Dhabi. The staff there are so friendly and amazing. On asking for samples if any, that suits my skin type (normal/dry), they gave me two awesome product samples. Here they are :

● Natural Sugar Scrub – This one is a dense scrub, packed with sugar thats immersed in a base of Argan oil & Shea butter. It also contains strawberry seeds for exfoliation (first time coming across strawberry seeds used for this purpose!). It smells strongly of coffee. I believe it contains ground coffee beans too. I have used it only on my body, since I feel it’s a bit too abrasive for facial skin.

Nacomi body scrub

● Cleansing oil – This yellow colored cleansing oil helps in perfect makeup removal while clearing all impurities from the skin. It smells so heavenly and is a mix of several precious oils. Mann, I wanna make this into a perfume and keeps smelling it throughout the day. What a lovely, effective product!.

Nacomi cleansing oil

Overall, Nacomi a great natural beauty brand. Definitely check them out and if you have any wonderful experience with any of the products from this brand, kindly suggest them in the comments below and I will go try it out for myself =)

Review : Three Crueltyfree Fuschia skincare products!

Hey guys,

Fuschia is an Indian brand that comes under a bigger name, Vkare Bio Sciences. Recently I got to test three of their products and below are my thoughts on it. These products came in a cute, colorful little box that has written on it, the properties of this brand, what this brand stands by – Crueltyfree, Handmade, SLS free, Paraben free, Natural & Phthalates free.

Fuschia skincare

Chemicals harm our skin in the long run and you would be surprised how much of it is present in literally every product that we use. Of late, I’ve been trying out chemical-free options and am pretty impressed that there are so many brands that have taken that route.

Cherry Care Hand & Nail cream – This light pink colored cream smells absolutely divine. It’s a mixed scent of cherry and bubblegum!. It’s ultra moisturizing & has a thick consistency. Working with a small amount of product at a time helps the cream to get absorbed faster into the skin. If you take a large amount, the more you try to rub it in, the more it just keeps spreading around without getting absorbed. This is because of it’s thick, pasty texture.

Fuschia skincare

It’s ingredients are : Aqua, Glycerin, Aloe Vera, Coconut Oil, Bee’s Wax, Almond Oil, Cherry Extract, Mint Extract,  Vitamin- E. It’s full sized tub is priced at Rs 450 (Approx AED 25.66).

Green tea Clarifying Face & Body scrub – This one has such a refreshing & lovely scent, that if you just close your eyes for a sec, you feel like you are at a spa!. It’s a light green colored scrub that has small green tea particles in it, that’s lightly abrasive. I use it twice a week (like all scrub should be). It immediately reveals radiant, soft skin. It feels just great on the skin and pretty relaxing to feel the light scrubbing action.

Fuschia skincare

It’s ingredients are : : Aloe Vera, Green Tea, Olive Oil, Wheat Germ Oil. Can it get any more natural and simple that that!. I have mostly used scrubs that have walnut shell grits in them. This scrub feels mild (but still highly effective) after having used those for a long time. It’s a pleasant and welcome change. I highly recommend you try this scrub. I LOVE it.

Also, any product that’s ‘clarifying’ is generally meant for those suffering from acne or those with oily skin. However, I feel this scrub would suit all skin types. It’s absolutely lovely and smells wonderful. It’s full sized tub is priced at Rs 450.

Dazzle Face Mask – This Sandal & Saffron face mask is designed to make your skin dazzle, just like it’s name suggests. It’s the lightest shade of yellow and smells strongly of sandalwood and rose water. On drying, it becomes almost like a white mask on the face.

Fuschia skincare

It says on their site that you can use it for 15 – 20 minutes. However, for me, I can’t apply it for more than 7 minutes because by then it dries, since it contains different types of clay in it. My skin generally isn’t a fan of clay masks as they tend to leave my skin feeling dry. In this case too, after 7 mins (max), I lightly wet the mask, massage it, wash it away with plenty of water and immediately follow it with a hydrating moisturizer.

It’s ingredients are : Rose Water, Kaolin Light, China Clay, Glycerin, Aloe Vera, Bentonite Powder, Oatmeal Powder, Sandalwood Powder, Saffron Extract, Vitamin E. I recommend this scrub for those with combination/oily skin. Those with very dry skin should avoid it. It’s full sized tub is priced at Rs 450.

Overall, am a huge fan of this brand and highly recommend it ♡

Violet Box Mar Apr 2017

On unboxing, the first thing that registered on my mind was a heavenly coffee scent and also mixed with it, a smell of a luxurious spa. The products were all laid out on a bed of coconut fibre. I knew I was in for a treat. This box focuses on body & eyes and truly is a dream box for a skincare lover like me.

Full size beauty products

1) Raw Rituals – Caffeine Infused Body Scrub – 75g

raw rituals coffee scrub

This scrub is probably the first dry scrub mix that I am trying out. I thought it should be mixed with water to make a paste. However, in the ‘Directions’ mentioned at the back of the tub, it says, you need to just wet your skin while in shower & rub this dry scrub, in a circular motion. Leave it on for 4-5 minutes and rinse with warm water. It smells heavenly, like luxurious coffee.

The antioxidant properties of coffee and the exfoliating effects of the sugar makes this a truly wonderful product, that moisturizes & makes the skin soft. It contains ‘Grinded Arabica Bean Coffee, Coffee powder, Sugar mix, Hempseed oil, Almond oil, Coconut oil, Himalayan salt & Coffee oil’. This is a crueltyfree, vegan, chemical free, natural, preservatives free product.

It comes in a 75 gms tub and is worth Rs 300.

2) Raw Rituals – Green Tea Under Eye Cream – 10g

Raw rituals under eye cream

Just when my Clinique eye cream was about to get over, I find this in the box and I am absolutely overjoyed!. This antioxidant rich, Green tea & Coffee infused under eye cream is quite unique. For one thing, it’s not a cream!. It’s more like a light weight balm. It has a lovely scent of both green tea and coffee and has a light green color. It is easy to apply it around the eye, due to it’s balm like texture.

It comes in a 10 gms tub & is worth Rs. 300.

3) Fuschia – Sandal Saffron Bath Salt – 100g

Epsom bath salts

This is my first time ever trying out a bath salt. Fuschia is another Indian brand that is crueltyfree, vegan, handmade and natural. Since I don’t have a bath tub (and even if I had one, I am not in the habit of using one), I looked for alternate ways to use these bath salts and tried it in 2 ways.

One way is to use it for exfoliation. Since these salts are fine, it feels great to use it as a body scrub. It almost feels like a skin polish. It leaves the skin feeling soft and supple. Another way is to use it in a foot soak. I quite loved soaking my feet in warm water, with these salts in it, for 25 – 40 mins. It’s very relaxing.

It smells so very much of Sandalwood and I really liked it. This scent lingers on the skin for quite a while. The salts are a mixed color of pink/saffron. The ingredients are ‘Sea salt with Dead Sea minerals, Epsom salt, Himalayan salt, Sandalwood Essential oil, Saffron threads & Olive oil’.

It comes in a 100 gms plastic tub and is worth Rs. 450.

4) Neemli Naturals – Coffee & Cocoa Body Wrap – 75g

Clay body wrap

First time trying a body wrap. I read instructions at the back and understood that it can be used on face too. It’s ash in color and smells predominantly of coffee. I took some of this powder in a bowl, mixed some water in (you can mix milk or rose water) and made it into a paste. The end result was a thick, bottle green colored paste!.

I applied it on face, neck and shoulders and left it on for about 10 minutes. It started drying to an ash color. I then washed it off to reveal soft skin. But I have a major problem with it. It left a greenish tint on my skin!. What a horror, looking like Hulk, albeit a less ferocious, lighter green version. Lol!. My husband made fun of me. Anyways, the tint faded away some hours later. Fair skinned people beware!. It will show more prominently on your skin.

The product contains ‘Coffee, Cocoa powder, Zeolite clay & Bentonite clay’. It’s a crueltyfree, natural product and I will continue using it because of the wonderful ingredients in it, but I will definitely avoid using it on my face!.

It came in a resealable pack containing 75 gms & is worth Rs 550.

5) C.A.L. Los Angeles – Draw Me Eyeliner

Cal Draw Me Eyeliner

Wow, this eyeliner is the perfect, jet black color, that’s an essential product for every makeup lover. On application, it dries immediately with a glossy finish. It’s waterproof and so velvety smooth that it just glides along the eyelid. It came in a little pretty black bottle with a golden lid. It is a crueltyfree product.

Deluxe Size Beauty products

6) Ital Veloce – Fine fragrance Body Mist

This is a 12 ml sample, called Shooting Stars, in a small spray bottle. It has a beautiful, floral scent that’s very feminine & is pink in color. I absolutely love this one and will try to get a full sized version.

7) Tatha – Shea & Cocoa Body Butter

Cocoa butter

This thick body butter has the goodness of both Shea butter & Cocoa butter. It is named ‘Spicy Sandal’. It has a really lovely scent of cocoa butter more than sandal. It’s so moisturizing.

8) Tatha – Green Apple & Jasmine Shower Gel

Green apple shower gel

This shower gel smells so uplifting and fresh, thanks to it’s dominant green apple scent. The jasmine scent is quite subtle and I prefer it that way, since am not a huge fan of that scent. It lathers just right and feels divine!. Love this vegan, crueltyfree product. It came in a 30 ml bottle.

9) Natures Co – Lemongrass Footspray

Foot spray

This one is targeted at those who are on their feet throughout the day. It energizes tired feet and banishes bad odor. It smells so refreshing since it’s main content is Lemongrass oil (which is pretty expensive). It also contains Patchouli oil, Tea tree oil & vegetable glycerin. The sample came in a handy 10 ml bottle.

10) Just Herbs – Apricot Scrub

Apricot scrub

This scrub, named ‘Apricot sparkle’ contains apricot kernel oil, walnut shell grits, Shea butter, jojoba oil, aloe vera juice, grapeseed oil etc. It is as natural as anything can be. It’s very similar to any walnut scrub out there in the market, however it smells much more organic and also it’s base (what the walnut shell grits are present in) is more lotion like and not thick. I am in love with it ♥. The sample is a good sized 35ml bottle.

11) Khadi Naturals – Jasmine Moisturiser

Khadi jasmine moisturizer

I am not a fan at all of Jasmine scent in skincare products and was not really excited to read ‘Pure Jasmine’ on this product’s label. However, I was in for a pleasant surprise when I took a sniff of it. They have captured the scent of jasmine in probably the best manner possible. It lifts the mood and overall is enticing!. It’s a lovely herbal moisturizer that literally melts into the skin. The exotic fragrance lingers on so strongly that you don’t need to wear a perfume. The sample is a 15 ml one, good for 3 or 4 uses considering how much you use each time.

12) Thalgo – Brightening Cream

Thalgo cream

This one is called ‘Melt-in Smoothing Brightening cream’. It has a lovely, lightweight texture and easily melts in to the skin just like it’s name. In a hot, humid climate though, this one would ‘melt’ (pun intended) right off of your face.. It came in a 2 ml tube, good for a single use.

Indulgences

13) Teddy Roosevelt – Luxury Instant Coffee – 5 servings

Teddy Roosevelt coffee

This finely powdered coffee smells really strong. Even though each pack included here is a single serving, I used the content of 1.5 sachets to make a perfect cup of coffee. It’s deliciously luxurious.

14) Christopher Cocoa – 55% Dark Chocolate – 40g

Luxury dark chocolate

I loved this chocolate. There were 4 pieces, each wrapped in golden foil and containing an almond & a raisin. These were packed into a black resealable pack.

Other than Thalgo, every other brand is new to me. What a delight to try out new brands and products!. That’s why I love the concept of beauty subscription boxes. Visit their site to see if your country is one of the 70 countries to which they ship to. They ship free to most countries, including UAE. Also, in international boxes, there are slightly difference to certain products since they are thoughtfully curated in such a way that there are no problems with international customs etc.

Review : Herbal Cleansing milk by Prakriti Herbals!

Hey guys,

Cleansing milk is a gentle cleanser that suits all skin types, especially my skin type (normal/dry). Today’s review is about one such product by crueltyfree, Indian brand, Prakriti Herbals. Founded in 1995 by Ms. Neeta Adappa, this brand strongly believes in being natural and in the power of Ayurveda.

Cleansing milk

Prakriti Herbals emphasizes the philosophy that nature has always provided an abundance of plants, roots, flowers and herbs rich in vitamins, enzymes, proteins and minerals that have been used in body and skin-care from time immemorial.

This cleansing milk has the goodness of Aloe Vera, Fresh Lime and Cucumber. It’s gentle enough to be used even by those with sensitive skin.

Cleansing milk

My experience : This is probably one of the best cleansers that I have ever used. It has a really lovely, fresh scent of lemon, thanks to the lemon oil in it. It takes away the impurities of the skin, in just one swipe, leaving the skin looking so radiant and soft. It doesn’t dry out the skin at all. It can also be used as a makeup remover. I tried it on waterproof makeup and it didn’t remove it. You will need something stronger for that. However, try it on any other regular makeup, even eye makeup and this cleansing milk removes it easily, while being super gentle.

Cleansing milk

It is light green in color and has a slightly runny consistency. Don’t let the simple packaging fool you. The product is definitely high quality and very effective. It comes in a plastic, capsule shaped bottle. They are an eco friendly brand and have mentioned ‘Contact us to recycle the used bottles’ on the bottle. Like all cleansing milks, I usually take a small amount of it on a cotton pad and wipe it in circular motions on my face and neck. Then I wash and pat dry.

The main ingredients are lemon oil, Aloevera juice and cucumber extracts. I am in love with this product and I highly recommend it.

Price : Rs 200 (Approx AED 11.29) for a 120 ml bottle.

This product can be bought from leading Indian online retailers such as Amazon, Flipkart etc.

Review : February 2016 Glambox!

Hey guys,

Though late, here are my thoughts on February’s Glambox 🙂

February 2016 Glambox

It contained the following products :

1) Hair & Beauty by Edge Hand-tied False Eye Lashes – Everytime I have received false eyelashes for review or as gift, I have passed it on to others, because I don’t wear it. This time though these lashes looked soo amazing, that I decided to try it on. It felt very foreign on my eyelids but it looked really pretty. These are hand tied lashes and looks high quality. It’s light weight. This is the ‘Rockstar’ variant. It has a natural, fluttery-lashes finish. This pack doesn’t come with a glue though. I had to get one and since I couldn’t get an eyelash glue itself easily, I ended up getting and using a Bindi gum. It worked just fine. I have worn it 3 times so far. The below pic is when I wore it for a special occasion.

Hand tied lashes

False eyelashes

Just in case you are wondering, I’m wearing Fresh Look Color Blends Pure Hazel contact lenses.

After each use, I cleaned the band using a makeup remover so that all traces of glue are gone. Then I stored it in the same packaging that it came in, so that it retains it’s shape and I can reuse it. If you take good care, a set of lashes, particularly one that’s this high quality, can be reused several times. Even though the resulting look is pretty and feminine, I do find the application of false eyelashes quite cumbersome. Lol!. Those who know how to apply it fast and easily, well, lucky them!

2) Derma E Hydrating Night Crème – I was super excited seeing this product in the box, because I had almost bought this online once but then decided not to get it. However, having tried this from the Glambox, I freaking love it, and next time I need a night cream, I am going to get a full sized one.

Derma e Hydrating Night Creme

This is a cream colored, light weight cream. It smells just like bubblegum and is so wonderfully pleasant. It gets absorbed fast into the skin and is really hydrating. This is a crueltyfree, vegan, paraben free and gluten free product.

3 & 4) Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel & Aloe Bha Skin Toner – These are some Asian skincare samples from the brand Benton. The first one is a 5 ml sample of Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel, that contains Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice 80% and Propolis Extract 10%. It’s a transparent gel that feels so soothing on the skin. I used it as the final step (as a moisturizer) in my skincare routine. It’s supposed to be unscented however I did find that it had a light, peculiar scent. It has a light and non sticky application.

Benton Aloe

Second one is the Aloe BHA 0.5 Skin toner – This is such a fantastic toner. I got only about 6 uses from the little sample bottle, but even from the very first use I found that even though it’s gentle, it even removes any traces of impurities or makeup that the cleanser might have missed out on. ‘Gentle but pretty powerful’ is how I wish to describe this product. It looks and feels just like water. I disliked it’s smell though. It feels like smelling chemicals. Other than that, it’s an awesome product. Loved it!

5) Atelier Cologne Oud Saphir sample – Oh!. This is probably one of the best Oud perfumes that I have ever tried out. It’s not overpowering at all yet lingers on the skin for a long while. I got 2 samples along with two pretty post cards.

Atelier Oud Cologne

2) A gift voucher worth 30% online discount at www.BeautyByEdge.com online store

iHerb Haul #9 – Skincare products!

Hey beauties!

In September 2015, I was quite surprised one fine morning when I found an email from iHerb in my inbox stating that they are giving me $10 (AED 36.73) to shop on their site. That too, no conditions attached which means no minimum purchase required!. iHerb is my favorite online shopping site and I literally need no reason to go shopping there. However, I had just gone shopping there in the previous month (see my August haul post), so I was sceptical about spending more on things I don’t need right now. But I didn’t want this $10 to go to waste (it was valid for only 5 days), so I did just that.. I went shopping with that $10!. iHerb being a site that provides immense value, I was sure I would find something that would ‘fit my budget’. 😀

The first place I headed to is their Specials’ page, which lists special offers and also a 20% discount on 5-7 brands each week. That particular week, the brand EO Products captured my attention. It is a crueltyfree and glutenfree skincare & body care brand with the motto ‘Love Life. Live Clean’. After looking at the array of awesome products they offer, I chose their Rose & Chamomile body lotion.

iHerb

This is one of the best body lotions I have ever used. It gets absorbed so fast into the skin, it feels like your skin is drinking up the goodness!. It smells of rose, grapefruit, chamomile & glycerin. It’s such an uplifting scent, it feels like aromatherapy. All ingredients in it are organic and it also has essential oils in it. It is white in color, has a liquidy consistency and comes in a bottle with a pump, which is so convenient. It makes your skin feel super soft. I will make sure I look at more products from this brand, in my future purchases.

Price : $6.90 (AED 25.34) for a bottle containing 236 ml, but since it was one of the brands of the week, I got it for $5.52 (AED 20.27)

Next, I headed over to the ‘Now Foods’ brand page to look for a skincare oil. I am a huge fan of their Avocado oil (see my Skincare oils haul post). I then found Apricot oil there that sounded really nice. It softens fine lines and helps treat dry hair. It’s a multi purpose product which appealed to me. As a skincare oil, it’s actually more suitable for mature skin but since am all about anti-aging and also since I have dry hair, I decided to go for it.

iHerb

It’s a heavy oil. It leaves an oily sheen on the skin and hair. It smells lightly of apricot when smelt directly from the bottle but if you take a small amount in your hand and smell it, it just has an oily smell, nothing else. Since I don’t mind using a heavy oil on my face at night, I like this oil.

Price : $3.18 (AED 11.68) for a bottle containing 118 ml. Please note it’s current price is $3.81 (AED 13.99).

Lastly, I checked out their ‘Trials’ page to find something sample sized or a full sized product at a discounted price. There I found Desert Essence’s Ultra Hydrating Lip Rescue lip balm.

iHerb

It’s a lovely, non sticky, moisturizing lip balm. It has a beautiful light scent. I love that it contains Shea butter & Rosemary essential oil. Also, Desert Essence is a crueltyfree & vegan brand. Please note that Desert Essence is one of the Brands of the Week right now (until Feb 3rd).

Price : $2.49 (AED 9.15) for a tube containing 4.25 gms. However, since it was featured on the Trials page, I got it for $1.68 (AED 6.17).

Shopping over and my total is $10.38 (AED 38.13). Like how cool is that!. I got 3 awesome products for such a low price ♡.

Shipping

Since I was ‘shopping on a budget’, I chose to opt for the Airmail (by post) option, which cost $4 (AED 14.69) that month. I usually choose the DHL courier option, since that way I get my package right to my doorstep from US to UAE in 2 – 3 days. Even though cheaper or even completely free sometimes, I never chose Airmail before, since it has no tracking and it says on the site that it would take anywhere between 1 – 5 weeks for the package to arrive. By choosing Airmail this time, I could test out whether it reaches safely to UAE and also know how long it takes to reach here. It did reach safely on the 9th day after I placed the order.

Overall, such a lovely experience ‘shopping on a budget’ on iHerb. 😉

iHerb Haul #7 – Skincare products!

Holla!

Here is another haul from my absolutely favorite shopping site, iHerb. Unlike my previous iHerb hauls, this one won’t have mini reviews, since I placed this order for my brother and sister in law. However, since I suggested these products for them, I will be writing more about why I decided to choose these products.

iherb haul 1

Click the above picture to add all four products to your shopping cart in one click.

1) Certified Organic Shea Butter by Now Foods – Shea Butter has a rich, luxurious texture that penetrates deep to condition and moisturize every type of skin. It is a wonderful emollient that’s perfect for daily use. It can also be used as a scalp moisturizer. My SIL told me it has a hard texture. However, it melts when rubbed between the palms. This is a lovely product that gives intense nourishment and hydration to even the driest of skin types.

Price : $9.93 (AED 36.47) for a tub containing 207 ml. iHerb’s price for this product is 24% lesser than the market value!.

2) Certified Organic Jojoba oil by Now Foods – This is my SIL’s favorite oil. She once bought this from iHerb itself and this is her second bottle. This is great for usage on both skin & hair.

Price : $9.93 (AED 36.47) for a bottle containing 118 ml. iHerb’s price for this product is 34% lesser than the market value!.

3) Apricot oil by Now Foods – Apricot oil is the oil derived from apricot kernels, that will naturally nourish and moisturize your skin. Rich in essential fatty acids, this gentle oil has excellent restorative properties. I suggested this to my SIL because just like Jojoba oil, this is a multi purpose oil. It can be used to soften fine lines & restore a healthy glow to the skin while also bringing radiance to the hair. I have actually placed an order for this very same bottle for myself, but that will be shown in another haul post :).

Price : $3.18 (AED 11.68) for a bottle containing 118 ml. iHerb’s price for this product is 36% lesser than the market value!.

4) Lift & Firm Cream with Hyaluronic DMAE by Andalou Naturals – Recently my brother suffered from a really bad sun burn. He asked me to look for a cream that is hydrating but at the same time non – greasy. I searched high and low and finally found this cream which fit the bill perfectly!. It has Hyaluronic acid in it that gives intense hydration. This product contains age defying, fruit stem cells. Also, Andalou Naturals is a crueltyfree / vegan brand. After using it, my brother said that he hasn’t used anything like it before and that it really is an awesome product. Since I have normal / dry skin, I’ve added this cream to my wishlist for a future purchase.

Price : $19.96 (AED 73.30) for a tub containing 50 ml. iHerb’s price for this product is 20% lesser than the market value!.

Discounts Received & Shipping

I placed this order on Oct 6th. At that time, iHerb had the offers of $8 shipping fee via DHL and 5% discount for every order above $40. So, I was able to avail both offers. The 5% discount came to $2.15 (AED 7.90). Shipping fee was $8 (AED 29.38), which is great value. Within 4 hours of placing the order, I received an email saying it’s shipped!. In 4 days, it reached my brother’s office in Abu Dhabi from US. Also, along with the order, iHerb sometimes keeps freebies and this time it’s a cute green and white cloth pin.

FYI : From now until Oct 31st 2015, iHerb is offering a flat shipping fee of $8 via DHL, $6 via Premium Airmail & $4 via Regular Post, irrespective of the bill total amount!. Usually you get the best shipping price only when the bill total is $40 or above. It’s a great offer and you should definitely take advantage of it.

Also, if you are in UAE and wondering if you can order from iHerb, the solution is to ask someone else in another country to place the order for you but give the delivery address in UAE. That way you will still get your favorite products to your doorsteps.. I placed this order from India and got it delivered in Abu Dhabi.
