Recently Skin18 sent me Nature Republic’s Aloe Sheet mask, as part of their ongoing Reviewer Programme (which you can join too, even if you are a newbie blogger (Minimum requirement : 500 followers), by clicking here).
It came wrapped in a thin cover which had stars and zodiac signs printed on it. So pretty!
I like the concept of sheet masks. They are easy to use and fuss free. Ok, so this mask has the most realistic visual of Aloe Vera, printed on it’s pack. It’s beautiful & attractive enough to make anyone reach for the pack. Inside, I found the mask that is composed of three layers of cellulose, that’s brimming with essence. I found most essence on the mask itself and next to nil dripped inside the pack.
Here is the sheet mask pack. It came with a Thank You card from Skin18.
The essence has a light, pleasant scent and is thick, cool to touch and non oily. It says here on the pack that it should be applied on cleansed skin, right after applying a toner. So, I used my Jeffrey James Botanicals toner on cleansed skin and then applied the sheet mask.
I promise the end result isn’t as scary as it looks in the beginning, lol!
On application, my skin felt hydrated, moisturized & soft. I left it on for 20 mins. Aloe is soothing and has healing properties. This mask is best for dry, irritated skin. I do have normal/dry skin, however it is not irritated. Still, I benefited much from the mask as it left my skin feeling refreshed and full of life!.
I do recommend you try this mask. The only problem I found with it is that it has a high alcohol content.
Price : $2.40 (Approx AED 8.82) for a pack containing 23ml essence
